Exterior Clean £40 - £60
First in the process of getting your car back to looking like it just came out of the factory is the wheels, they collect all the dirt and grit from the road and also collect a lot of the brake dust which leaves a black colour on the wheels (which is most noticeable on light-coloured wheels). To tackle this hard stain and dirt I use a mixture of retyre to clean the rubber of the tyre and brake buster to get into the rims and get rid of all the black residue. Now onto the actual body of the car. I lubricate the surface with some pre-wash mix with snow foam, this is a neat little potion, I apply this with a foam cannon. I do this so I can get rid of most of the dirt on the surface so when I give it a jet wash none of the heavy dirt on the car will scratch or leave any swirls on the cars paint work. I also go in with a brush to make sure I can get in all the little crevices like the grills, edge of windows and badges. To follow on, I spray the car with just snow foam and also I will use the two-bucket method, this is where I fill a bucket up with premium ph neutral car soap, which is minty fresh with water, I apply this to the car with a wash mitt to get rid of the fine dirt and the rest of the tough grit/grime that didn't come off with the prewash. Also in the other bucket is just water, so that all the dirt and grime that is on the wash mitt can be rinsed out into this bucket and not back into the soap bucket, where it will be put back on the car so we don't cause small scratches when using the wash mitt on the body. I will go in an S-line motion up and down to ensure that I don't put any swirls on the paint work. After all of that I will give it a rinse with the pressure washer. After this step I will use a separate foam cannon and I will put some ceramic sealant mixed with water to spray all over the car and then wash it all off, this is a hydrophobic product which will allow the water to run off of the car and act as a repellent to any fluid and it makes it easier for the dirt to come off next time. After all that, I will dry it with my magic towel and a blower to make sure I get off all the water that's still laying on the car.
Interior clean £60 - £80
When I start the interior, I first give it a good hoover making sure I'm getting most of the dirt and bits in the carpet and the seats. If the seats are particularly dirty, I will spray it down with interior cleaner and get my drill out with a flat brush attachment and drill up and down the seat to agitate the dirt to bring it up. Then I will use my vax spot wash to suck up all the dirt and cleaner in the seats so they will look brand new. However, with a leather seat I would use leather star from Koch chemie which is one of the leading top brands in car detailing with no harmful chemicals; this will give the leather in the car a new shiny look as I know when leather wears it loses its shine and goes a matte finish. After I've done the seats, I will use my drill with the brush attachment to get the deep dirt and bits that are stuck in the carpet to dislodge them. Then I will do another hoover to get all the bits I just dislodged out of the carpet. Then I will clean the dash, steering wheel and all the plastic trims around the car with interior cleaner and a brush and microfibre cloth. The final thing I would do is wipe clean all the windows so there are no smudges or tiny little fingerprints as I know children like to touch everything.
engine bay clean £30
Firstly, I will pick up any loose bits like leaves or twigs that have found their way into the engine bay. After this, I will go over the engine bay with a quick spray down with water using my pressure washer; this is to lubricate the area and get off any loose dirt on the surface. Next, I will spray the engine bay with snow foam mixed with pre-wash, this is so it will attack the dirt that has settled on the surfaces of the engine. While this is on the engine bay, I will go in with a brush to really agitate the dirt on the surface and get in the hard to reach and smaller places that your local car wash won’t get anywhere near. Once I have gone all-over the bay making sure I get every nook and cranny, I will wash it all down making sure I get off all the product from the engine bay and give it a dry with a towel and a car dryer to get the water out of the hard-to-reach places. The final step in this will be to get some trim polish and wipe all the plastic trims with this product to make your engine bay look all new and shiny.
